Money Transfer / Payments Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Prompt response and answering of queries in a professional and efficient manner. All queries and knowledge required during calls/emails to be logged real time on customer database
  • Require a full understanding of the respective money transfer service and provide information on queries regarding transfers in a prompt manner
  • Prepare daily exchange rates with due attention to detail and acquire an understanding of the Foreign Exchange environment
  • Maintain respective daily foreign exchange spreadsheets under supervision of line manager; Undertake daily tasks as assigned to assist payments department with meeting daily payment reporting timetables
  • Ensure all payment details are fully checked and accounts are properly funded before authorizing transfers.
  • Liaise with banks regarding payment traces and amendments and organize correspondence effectively in order to recall information quickly and easily
  • Provide assistance to other treasury department members when required

  • Ensure all policies regarding adherence to Anti Money Laundering policies and procedures are completely understood and adhered to
